Happy New Year to everyone. Its that time of year again, its time to take care of hiring for the 2010 fire season. We are expecting to fill a few temporary positions on the crew. We have received a large volume of phone calls and resumes already.

Temporary employment will continue to use the current open Temporary Vacancy announcements for the 2010 Hiring season.

Our Profile:
The Eldorado Hotshots are a 20-person, Type 1 Interagency fire crew with the U.S. Forest Service located on the Eldorado National Forest in Pollock Pines, California.
The Eldorado Hotshots travel quite consistently throughout the summer months, responding to wildland fires providing wildland fire suppression, service, and support.
The crew consists of 14 permanent fire positions, and 6 temporary firefighters are hired each season.
This website is currently under construction, please check back frequently for updated information and new pages.
We try to update the site with location of crew and current information, but due to response times and other workload, some updates are delayed.
